Nowadays: Obviously. The only reason I got the Kia was because the Jeep got demoted from 0 tags to 1 tags.

Well, now that all of the “old” cars aren’t on the road, there won’t be any congestion... so in practice I will emit less pollution tomorrow.

I should probably take the bus tomorrow...

That is, in a nutshell, what this system does.

A 3/4 ton suburban comes out of the dealer with “00" tags, which are the same tags a Mitsubishi Mirage would get... despite the mountainous difference in pollution.

My car is also 00, but in February  I’m gonna be demoted to 0

I drive very little to begin with but... yes, I should probably not drive....

The sole issue is that all the students that have sanctioned cars are going to use the bus , so it’s going to be unusually crowded, if not filled.
